Hello peoples
Thanks to Ft Lauderdale for rocking out with us so hard. Those shows were a blast. Great energy. Come on St Petes..bring the heat!! Been greatly enjoying the weather and our leisurely schedule this past week or so. Lounging is Oh So Nice. Although I was sad to miss my son’s emphatic departure from the world of diapers. Just happened yesterday and he is quite proud of himself. After 12 years of trying who wouldn’t be??!!! Sorry. Couldn’t resist. The Man is just 3 and i was beginning to wonder if this development was ever going to transpire. Ass wipings will continue but I much prefer the flush than the horrible, hope it doesn’t get on my fingers-oh shit i dropped a little on the floor-darn it don’t put your feet in it- diaper wrap!!!i
Back to lounging….There were many rumored sightings of a Chan-like figure in bermuda shorts out on the links. The 3 motorists who’s windows were shattered by wayward golf balls also describe seeing a tall-ish bald man last seen bringing John his harps onstage.
Had a question from TJ about Bonnaroo..YES! we are playing this year. And we’re pumped for it. Lolla and Wakarusa as well. With Beale Street and Jazz Fest this weekend there is much festival magic to be excited about. And just a little reminder–check out our (oooh ahhhh) new website to see tour dates. In my extensive surfing through the site I tried repeatedly to escape the tour dates but I could not!! …they were everywhere, lurking like a Krispy Kreme donut, tempting me, calling to me….it was horrible!! Try it..I dare you!!!
Tad had some cool ideas in his set the other day that I enjoyed playing over so I stole them! In my mind it is going to rule so we’ll see. Funny how that works. We all thought the set night 1 in Ft Lauderdale was going to suck but it was great. So much depends on the crowd and obviously, us. One night we could play the deepest cuts imaginable and people would go bananas and another night we would be met with puzzled looks. Play the same set when everyone is on fire and the set almost doesn’t matter. Almost. Anyway, I’m gonna try and break some tendencies in my sets but I find I like what I like. Thank goodness I only have to do it every 5 shows!!! The pressure!!!!!:) El Guapo

You guys ripped Night 1 in Ft. Laudy. Yes. Once Love and Greed hit there was no looking back. I have seen my share of BT shows, but it was crazy to see you guys in such a small club on a stage I have played many times. Great show … and don’t worry about breaking tendencies, we all have ‘em. Keep on keepin’ on.

Keep us posted……live in Dade City……..Yea….have you ever heard….anyway we are still only hours away from anywhere in sunshine state…..I have enjoyed your music since early nineties…….Keep rockin….thank you for never quiting…………the world is better place with your music……We love you…and hopefully we will have another generation of serious music lovers, I have three teenagers that have to listen to my music if they come in my room!!!!;)

Keep changin them diapers……they will have to change ours someday! What an awesome father…little do you realize…that is the secret ….everytime a man helps with his childeren…u can’t imagine how sexy this is to a woman…..and..yes…some woman can get carried away ,,,but on average…there is nothing sexier to a woman, is to see the father interact with his childeren….I am proud of you….there are alot of men that just flatly refuse!!!!! they don’t know what they r missing!!!!!!

Oh man! It was just like the old days at Wet Lands back in 1992ish when you were playing under “Chans Fruits and Vegetables”! I can’t wait to see you again, I wish I went to both night, we were there Saturday night….Brother John was mindblowing!
