Today is the 15 year anniversary of my first Blues Traveler concert. 11/19/95, Mesa Amphitheater, Mesa Arizona. That incredible show melted my face off in the best ways.
To say that night left a lasting impression is an understatement. I've gone back to see them so many times that at my last show I was standing in line at the merch table when Gina (who was going over the InstantLive procedure with the folks running the venue) looked over at me and said "Hey, this isn't your first rodeo, is it? I've seen your face around a bunch!"
When the "band mom" recognizes you from just being in the crowd over the years, you know you're officially "one of the regulars."
Although the band, the music, and the material has changed over the years, I still have the best times ever dancing my ass off at BT shows. Thanks for an amazing 15 years, guys!
