the story is that popper wanted to sit in w/dmb and do what would you say (a song dmb doesn't really play anymore), popper wasn't able to get directly in touch w/the band or dave, was told by management that there would be no sit-ins for the set. popper hears of multiple sit-ins and feels snubbed, posts a bunch of stuff on twitter about it (really, john??), comes off sounding like a high-schooler......dmb fans pick up on it, and not many have anything good to say about popper or his behavior here. a few come to his defense, a few educate the youngsters on the history between bt/dmb, and ALOT write popper off as a has-been drunk....
i think popper needs to lay off the twitter....beyond silly for him to air out his beef in public like that, whoever it's really with (the band or the mgmt).
it's an interesting read anyway.....if you can get thru any of it :)
