Well, I had originally decided to skip the Red Rocks show this year since I went last year, and just wait til next year to go again. Then the guys announced they would be playing the first album in full this year at RR. Now I am the proud owner of one RR ticket and have already bought my plane ticket. 8th time traveling to Colorado from Ohio for the 4th of July, I am stoked!!!

MemberGonna be going and bringing the entire family, with their friends around 11 kids. We found an RV rental, and I think we are gonna paint the back so everyone will know we are on our way to Red Rocks to see BT.
Any suggestions for cool campsites? I want to spend a week out in Coloroda enjoying the RV sits with rivers and horseback riding. Let me know.

MemberI will post pics and whatnot once I'm home, but yes, the fourth of july was EPIC! I can't put into words how great the show was. I was a little worried about it ending early because of the rain- chan seemed to be getting the worst of it, but he didn't seem to mind. I'm sooo glad I decided to go this year, met some awesome people, crashed some tailgates, and was up front for the show. Dantraveler- glad I could hang out with the other red rocks loner, thanks for being my bt pal for the night.

There were two tapers there; one of them had (understandable) technical difficulties and only got a mono recording. The other one sent me the instant live and is working on his copy as well but the instant live has static issues through much of set 2 so I don't want to seed it unless I know there isn't a better copy out there...

MemberIm seriously considering doing it again dan, need to hold up until I see where the gf is gonna be contracted for work (have to spend at least some of my vacation with her!) Looks like she is gonna be in Georgia, so Ive already been pricing multi city flight from Columbus to Denver then from there to Atlanta then back to Columbus... Really pretty cheap right now, and Im due to get my raise for the year in a one time lump some check soon (it's how they screw us out of paying our pay increase on OT for the year). Anyhow, maybe Dan if you are heading out again this year and I end up doing the same, we could share a rental car or something to cut down on costs and whatnot...

MemberI'm gonna try my damndest to make it. Last year was amazing, my 1st time making a solo trip like that for a show so far away and I had an incredible time! Meeting you and a few other VERY special people made it worth every dime and moment. And an old-school 2est BT show with the organic Alone/Sweet Talking Hippie segue???Incredible! As of today I am Coinstar broke and really cant even look at plane tix for another month probably but I got a funny feeling it's gonna happen. Strange how when these things approach I still find the pennies in the bottom of the bank to chase those memories and undoubtably create new ones...I'll keep you posted my friend. I know your rooting for T&T and me SHS but either one of those would be just sublime(go ahead and skip "What I got" though...) later
